Yes...or...No?

Don't get me wrong my dearest follower and friend....I am, was and will be for as long as I live a bookworm myself. Books offer one of the best ways for you to get a wild imagination, or develop one, get to know different worlds and heroes and escape into them whenever you wish as well as be whoever you want to be! There is always this standard set of characters and you get to choose which side you are one, who is your most favorite hero or character and so on. An other way, at least for me, have been also the big screen and the movies in general. Even if they have been books before that. Nevertheless, that is a great feeling and that's that...BUT....

"The world is not in your books and maps. It's out there." ~ Gandalf, The Hobbit.

I guess this single sentence should say a lot by itself and you, as a clever person you are, should understand its wonderful meaning. However, let me ellaborate....

In the Hobbit (both the book and the excellent movie directed by Peter Jackson with a great cast for the main and not only roles), Bilbo Baggins of Bag End is a young respectable hobbit, with an excellent reputation and a peaceful life. Indeed, he comes from a long line of two hobbit families, both being, however, different. As a young hobbit, he acted more like a Took, being curious of the world, but now acting more like a true Baggins. He lives in the Shire, the small village of hobbits, creatures which are furthered explained in the books. Just like every other hobbit, he prefers the good meals of his day, his pipe and garden as well as his books and maps. He never actually had an adventure and neither did he consider running off in the wild to chase random monsters and treasures. On the contrary...he despises them. As he states himself: "We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner!". And to begin with, he is quite right at that! However, with the decision of a wise wizard known as Gandalf the Grey, he does end up taking part in one. A great adventure which changed him and by the moment he returned to his comfortable home for his books, maps and garden, he was not the same hobbit anymore in many ways and for many of his friends and neighbors.

It is not a bad thing...Going on an adventure. Just like Bilbo. The world is indeed not only what we read or hear about in the news and the radio. Most of the time, especially in the latter, you will listen about the bad events and at some point, these will get you down and in a bad mood so you will go on, mumbling and making plans for your own good. Those are not that bad but...take some time off and get to know the world. Going on an adventure doesn't have to be a long unexpected journey like Bilbo's.. It can be a simple trip to a friend, a road trip, a ride with your bicycle towards a destination which is out of the usual one. It can be a day to the local fan park with good friends, the movies or the one month summer break of yours spent in a small, cheap hotel in an island without you caring about too many things, but seeing that you enjoy yourself in every single way and you get that break needed. Adventures can be many and they are different from one person to the other. Kids wish to play a game of Cowboys and Indians or explore the park in their neighborhood and that is an adventure for them. For you, at the age you are or the age I am, a simple walk or a few hours off to enjoy an icecream can be an adventure. Sometimes, you might even have to force yourself out of the door and make those few hours of free time, enjoyable. That is actually a must because it's also good for your own social life and health! So get a life! Go out! Have fun! Meet up with friends or make friends! Speak to people and communicate! See the world the way you want and not the way others want you to see it or live!!

As we grow older and especially in our times and world, we become people with a load of responsibilities. Work, families....those two things turn up to be the most important for all of us because families are great to have (unless you prefer otherwise), and work offers a good or at least decent income to raise a family and support it. Right? I get it. In the end, we realize that we have less time to read, less time to put on a movie, less time to meet up with friends and that is because we are tired. Even though I am still young enough to have plenty of energy inside me, I can see this tiredness in my mother and father. I can tell that they wish they could get away and enjoy their summer without worrying about a thousand things for the day they return or what they are going to find when they arrive at our countryhouse. Believe it or not, summer time is not always that peaceful like others describe...Unless you get into a hotel and everything is payed and you got a roof over your head for the night as well as a swimming pool or a beach with a beach chair and an umbrella, cocktails served to you and delicious lunch for a month...Let's be realistic, no matter how dreamy this sounds.

The world will never be what you read in the books. Middle Earth, Hogwarts, Camp Half Blood, Narnia will never ever exist in real. I am sorry to inform you and disappoint you. They will be there, in your own imagination and in the pages to welcome you back and make you feel at home. That is the truth. So grad that book if you wish after a hard day of work or school, read every single word over and over again but remember.... Taking some time off, closing this book, putting it away and leaving from the door is not that bad. The "roads go ever ever on, over rock and under tree, by caves where never sun has shone, by streams that never find the sea"...and that is the beauty of our world ladies and gentlement! So...Enjoy!

The Perks of Growing Up.

There is not even a single person out there who does not agree on growing up being a tough business. And truth be told, there is no easy way to do that! Believe me loves! No matter how good your upbringing was, no matter how many friends you had by your side, how big your family was.... There are always problems here and there, scattered and for you to face.
Everybody, when they are young and anive, have this idea of what or who they want to be. In many cases, if not in all, those ideas change. At the beginning, we picture ourselves in a certain way, leading a specific life with our own family, a partner, the dream job...unless you come reach only the years of your studying, in that case you wish to be a bit more down to earth.
The years do pass and at some point, you have reached and met specific goals, whether those are your current studies in THE university of your dreams, or you being surrounded by a good family with a good job, good income and independent. However, after all your imagining, you have finally hit that time of your life where you discover how far you are from what you predicted. Somehow, your dreams from that past are gone, they faded away or simply changed to different ones and so on. You discover that you have a reality that ends up surprising you. And yet, you still wonder about the future which is around the corner, wondering, trying to guess.
Growing up in tough, yes. You have lost that innocence of yours, you have been through different events and moments that simply changed the person you are and developed you into someone completely different as in thinking and facing problems.
However, there is always the opposite side of things. You will be proud of your achievements, no matter how small or big they are. You will be proud and amazed at how much knowledge you have gained. Fortunately, all that will, hopefully, assist you later on in your life somehow, someway, somewhere. Those are the perks of growing up. Not only do you enter the club of "Adults"...you become something. In addition, you are free to make your own choices and live your life, become and independent person at any point and set off in adventures you never knew you would have! There is no right and wrong on what you do, there is what you want and what you don't want. So follow your heart, live and enjoy life ine very way possible (only positive stuff). Make sure you are happy though and that you never let somebody else to force you into something, into entering a specific course or a uni just because that profession related to those courses you will attend is going to make you a businessman or woman. You might as well want to follow the path of a zoo owner. And there is nothing wrong with that!!!

Dear Spring..

Finally your next month has begun for us here in the country I have ended up into. May...with plenty of warmth and the sun to make our days better.
My exams are over, finally, and I believe I did good but for that we have to wait I guess. Not that I think of such things as much. On the contrary, now I have time to enjoy your beauty with or without friends, go out and have all those long walks in the park, maybe have a picnick or two and in a few words, stay out as much as possible! It is important for me and it fascinates me to see all those people out there, doing exactly what every logical person should. Then there are others who are still trapped in their homes, working for long hours and being adults. For Adulthood means a job, responsibilities, bills to pay...a family. However, don't you think those people deserve some time off? Some time for themselves and you?
With plenty of free time in my schedule, especially during the evenings, I have this urge to write. But I cannot see to it. I am lazy, I feel lazy and tired from the year of studying, writting, learning, working on assignments...But I want to write, something, fantasy preferrably. Can I?

Your fan.

Dear spring,

I forgot your beauty after a year of bad weather, a year of coldness and rain which would never stop. However, I forgot that you bring the usual flu along too.
I am not going to lie... This week has been a hard one and it's not only because of the every day studying, the assignments passing and the future rushing on to meet me in just a few months, something I realize right now. It has been hard for I am sick. Yes...well...it's not the best experience.
While you shine out there with a few clouds to ornament the sky and a rather good atmosphere, I am stuck inside for almost a week now. A bit of fever at the beginning, clogged nose and later on the usual sore throat that makes me lose my beauty sleep and my focus from everything that I am supposed to be doing. It has gotten a bit worse and each day that passes, I open my eyes in the morning, hoping that I will not cough, that I will not have to use a thousand tissues and drink the pills....Guess what...It's not even working.
Forutnately enough, I can read something enjoyable and maybe put on a movie or two to watch at night before bedtime. I am wondering though....Is there any other surprise tto find me soon? I am not even referring to the exams.. Those are no surprise, good or bad for that matter.

Sincerely
Your fan.

Dear Spring...

         Dear Spring,

I should begin with the usual "Welcome Back" routine and "How wonderful to have you" quotations. Truth be told, you are more than welcome to stay and it is wonderful to have you indeed, but Spring...you are rather late for us.
You finally arrived with all that beauty that follows you. It hasn't been too long since the day that sun started shining as much, the heat became even more and just a light breeze has remained in the air to remind us the previous season which was a mixture of autumn and winter.
I admit it...This is beautiful, even for those who live in Germany such as myself. We consider ourselves lucky for having such a weather and do our best on spending even more time outside in parks, gardens, the streets even and downtown by the Rhine along with you. Neverthless, it is not as easy as some would think. I wake up everyday and for a few hours, I am in that list of the lucky ones, spending time with friends, laughing and enjoying your own company and that warmth...until I find myself back, trapped in my room. I am studying!!! I am burried under books, papers, notebooks and homework for the next day while you torture me!
In my humble opinion, that is the most unfair thing to do to somebody, torture them that is. But hey...one can only hope, brace themselves, face their problems and move on, right? I am, currently, in the state of hoping and trying... Some more weeks...only a few...
Nonetheless, I should thank you for arriving, for bringing new life to this world and making people smile even more often. Don't get me wrong...I love winter itself but I have my own limits against the cold and the every day rain that becomes dull after a while. Therefore....I thank you Springtime for everything and please, do stay and last a bit longer so I, myself, can enjoy you at last!

Sincerely,
Your fan.

Talking.... Shall we?

I miss talking to people. I am not referring to those everyday conversations which take place everywhere in the world. No... I am referring to really talking to somebody. Those long conversations you can have with somebody during a walk or in the living room or in the kitchen or during a cup of coffee or warm tea, just the way you like it, or even when it's really late at night and the rest of the world is fast asleep.

During those you get to know the other person along all those random things regarding them. You see a side of people that most are not able to face or realize and for that you consider yourself lucky. You realize how rare such moments in life are and how much you miss them.

I wonder what has happened to those conversations and where everybody has gone. I believe in our days, people have found other means of communicating than the old ways of doing so. No more letters are being exchanged, no more meeting for a short moment on the street to say a hello or a goodbye and move on or even spare some time to exchange a few more words. People have become strangers and they pass by others without even noticing the little things, those smiles others can offer and which can make up your own day to begin with.

Those were the rare moments of life and the times worth of our free time, no matter how limited that was. Truth be told, everybody in this world needs one of those long conversations. They do not need to have a reason to begin or a specific result. On the contrary, sometimes, it is possible to sit next to somebody, a friend or a stranger, and walk away later knowing that this was the best talk ever!

People.

I am fascinated by people. It's something that grows as I meet more or see others in an everyday basis. What is even more interesting is how or why some people are able to risk things for others, too cautious or even too scared of going after things they want or their dreams. It fascinates me and I would love to find a good explanation why those who are lucky, look so sad and see life negatively than those who face obstacles and live a shattered life.

So far, I have met a lot of people. People who have lived for a very long time and have a thousand stories to share, people who are in relationships and wonder how they do this since it causes so much pain to them. I have met people desperately in love or who live in the fear of falling in love while others try everyday to make the best out of it and make each day count.

How these people lead a life is rather interesting to me. Although many have come across failures and heartbreaks or losses, they keep living...moving on.

A Music Review: Amadeus

Directed by Milios Foreman, the eight-Oscar winner “Amadeus” is one of the best movies ever made about the process of creation of music and its creator, the composer. As indicated by its title, the film portrays the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, focusing on his last ten years in Vienna, narrated by Mozart’s rival Antonio Sallieri, the court composer to Emperor Joseph II.
Amadeus” is a movie where the creation surpasses the creator and attracts the audience attention setting the question “Who is truly the protagonist?”
In the end of the movie, one may argue that the music in this film is not just a soundtrack used as a background, which usually serves the movie and creates the atmosphere of a scene adding thus to its artistic value and helping enhance the audience delightment. One may indeed support the notion that in “Amadeus” music’s name is written in the casting as it becomes the protagonist or to use a metaphor “a maypole” on which are tight and swindling around people’s lives in an endless dance full of sounds.
In “Amadeus” music acts, reacts, influences and changes the characters lives, participates in society’s actions and activities, becomes rivals weapon in the political arena and serves as man’s mediator to God. Music’s presence in the movie is powerful and ubiquitous in private and public life with orchestras, chamber music and church choir employing all known musical instruments of that time such as violin, piano, viola, cello and basso. At the same time its role is multidimensional releasing emotions, delineating social activities, portraying colorful cultural events, and revealing historical and political disputes.
As character, music in “Amadeus” is vivid, interesting, unpredictable, independent, nonconformist and rebellious like any form of art should be in order to serve its purpose in life as the watch dog of society healing human soul, praising humanity’s achievements and cauterizing its prejudice. In this sense from the beginning of the play music shows its rebellious nature. It escapes Mozart’s control and becomes an independent medium. Many are the scenes in the play where in moments of creation music manifests its self not as a product of thought but as an impulsive flow that spurs out of the composer’s mind and leads his hand in musical compositions written “without a single mistake” as Sallieri admits.
Music unfolds its emotional existence by expressing the characters’ passions, joy, sorrow, hatred, jealousy and obsession employing different forms to manifest them. Every passion of each person in the film is being expressed through music.
When it comes to happiness and joy the dynamics are in forte or mezzo forte, while in moments of sorrow there is piano and pianissimo. Obsession and hatred are given in fortissimo and forte too, while introspect and remorse is expressed with fortissimo, forte or even piano. Music is part of people’s everyday life revealing with forte and crescendo the fast pace of life in the bustling streets of Vienna, while at the same time renders the soft whispering of nature with piano and diminuendo that flows like the snowflakes that cover Vienna in white and melancholy.
It is music with its presence that reveals the fundamental truth of the coexistence of life and death in man’s life. In the opening scene, using one single musical piece in forte slowly changing into fortissimo, music embraces both the agony of the spiritually and physically wounded Sallieri and the joy of people’s dancing in the great Hall. It is the opera Don Giovanni with its forte and crescendo dynamics that expresses the remorse and dark shadows of the past that haunts Mozart.
Finally, music with a requiem laments death literally in Mozart’s loss and metaphorically in Sallieri’s degradation and loss of moral values. The Requiem is changing into fort and crescendo, but it includes parts of piano where female voices appear and which is the softer parts of the music.
On a cultural level music manifests its presence as a powerful factor in life at that era. With music as a vehicle we wonder to the magnificent but austere halls of the Emperor’s court and Archbishops establishment where music suffers by the suffocating hug by a sterile church that allows only forte dynamics, a few notes and no innovations. At the same time in private parties people enjoy music in fortissimo which is also entertaining without restrictions.
On a social level the audience is informed about the importance of music in all aspects of people’s life. From birth to baptism and from marriage to death, in moments of joy, or sorrow music is ubiquitous. People hire teachers to teach their children music, become musicians or musical instrument manufacturers to earn a living.
Last but not least, in the historical and political dimensions music becomes the hero that using Mozart rebels against the Establishment of that time declaring that Art in any form is beyond language barriers, geographical borders or political disputes. Defying the Emperor’s decisions Mozart will perform innovating for his time operas. By doing so in the “Marriage of Figaro” for the first time opera does not deal with mythology and its heroes or with Saints’ lives and God but rather with contemporary characters and situations. Emphasis is placed on the interplay of personalities on the scene and special interest was given in the various ways orchestra could be utilized to express the characters’ emotions.

Rarely a biographical movie reaches the top ten of the Box Office and becomes the darling of the critics. “Amadeus” which means God’s beloved succeeded both because of its charismatic protagonist- Music.

An Average Day.

Everything begins with sound of that alarm going off which usually is next to my bed. It is not that horrid like those monotone ones out there...on the contrary, it's melodic and sometimes, it helps with my positive mood which comes in light during the said day. At the beginning, I find myself laying on my bed, in the darkness which fills the room and with only one small light disturbing it, that one coming from my keyboard as always. At least it's of blue color and I like blue color. I need about 5 good minutes to get back into reality and find the power to pull away from this space between being half asleep and half awake where you can remember your own dreams. 5 minutes are usually enough unless I wish not to hurry. Before I can move any further and slip out of my bed, I am usually attacked by that cute furball which inhabites my room since the last Christmas time. A bit of licking, some bites and plenty of cute puppy dog eyes staring at me in between are what I need to wake up completely. Unfortunately, that lasts for about 5 minutes as well until Snoopy gets bored of me and moves on to chase his toys and bite his bone. I don't complain any more even though I cherish those moments of my life and those mornings!
With Snoopy being gone, I can finally debate on whether I want to attend my morning classes or not but usually my evil self wins and thus, I leave the warmth of my bed. Preparing myself is one of the best procedures of my morning, A warm shower when some time has been spared for me, new clothes, freshly washed ones and the taming of my hair which takes some time during those wild days. That is all I need and even though I have barely any time left before departing from school, I managed to get a bite or even a gulp of water if not tea or coffee.
An hour later after my awakening moment, I am finally in the train station along with 10 or more other people who are to depart from there with the same train to arrive in their workplaces downtown. Truth be told, I hate short train journeys but I do my best to cherish them and have as much fun as I want. For that, I need only my ipod with my favorite music which I listen for about two hours in the morning and during that ride. The train is full of people, some sleepy ones, some awake and hidden behind the pages of newspapers or books or even ipads. Most never really pay attention to what is happening around them and react only when the voice announces the train station they need to get off. They barely even talk with each other and that makes me wonder where technology has brought us. Do they even communicate with each other anymore or is it always a matter of free wi-fi, of how much battery their phones has and so on? I simply don't get it.

15 minutes pass or 10, depending on how fast the train is during that morning, before I can get off and join others on their way down the stairs. I separate from them soon and follow my own short way to school. The neighbor where that is located is not much. On the contrary, it's full of small business and shops, things I do not really care other than the store across of the building where I spend 4 hours of every week day. First, I visit the bakery for my morning coffee and capuccino and surprisingly enough, the people who work there most of them have come to know me in such a short time. They only need to take a look outside the window and smile at me before putting the cup under the machine for the said coffee to be made. With those two in hand, I proceed further to my destinate and usually I arrive earlier than the teachers even or the owner. During that time, I make myself comfortable outside at the stairs, playing a game on my phone or irritating my friend with messages and emoticons but not enough time for anything else. At some point, I end up entering the class and I can finally enjoy my coffee, revise the things we had done the previous day and check on my homework before class time.

And then it begins...German class...Learning a new language...

It's 12:00 when I leave the school, if not earlier than that. Normally, I hurry off to the train unless I have any plans like meeting a friend or so for a coffee during lunch break or going downtown, something which rarely happens on the every day basis. If that is not the case then I quickly walk to the same station of my morning only to board the train of the opposite direction.

Truth be told, my life is not that adventurous anymore. I attend that school and I return home to study, chat with friends and so on. I need about an hour to put my room in a good order with my dog running between my legs, biting, playing and so on. He is rather adorable but annoying all the same when tiredness kicks in.

During the rest of the afternoon and evening hours, I spend my time online, researching for my courses and in between doing my German homework with care and half love. Sometimes that can be exciting but then again...German is a difficult language to learn with all its rules and long words. You get used to it but there is always a limit. With some free time being left for my own enjoyment, I simply catch up on the series I watch during the week and if there are not some good ones, I put on some of my favorites movies. Anything to spend the day before getting back into writting or finding inspiration to write.

Night arrives and after another warm shower and some time relaxing under the water, I can finally prepare myself for bed. Always new Pjs, some perfume for the final touch, the creation of a braid or two and in bed for the last hours. The best company for me has always been a good book, new or old, I do not mind. But it has to be there with my dog bitting the cover page or my fingers, begging or digging for treats before he retired at his own corner for bed time..

An average day in the life of myself, not much but precious!

April's Fools Day!!

April 1st.

April Fools' Day is celebrated on the 1st of April, every year since it's creations. It is a day during which people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other. The jokes and their victims are called "April Fools". This day is popular since the 19th century and although it's nota  national holiday in any country, it is well known in India, Canada, Europe, Australia, Brazil and the United States.

The custom for the playing of harmless pranks upon people is recognized everywhere. Some precursos of this day include the Roman festival of "Hilaria", the "Holi" festival in India and the Medieval "Feast of Fools"!
Many writers have mentioned April Fools' Day in their workds, one of them being Chaucer's Canterbury Tales where the "Nun's Priest's Tale" is set in Syn March bigan thritty dayes and two. Many scolars of our days find this to an error and that Chaucer wrote Syn March was gon. Thus the orginal meant 32 days after March. Readers minsunderstood this line to mean "32 March", that being 1st of April. In Chaucer's tales, the vain cock Chauntecleer is tricked by a fox.
The Flemish poet Eduard de Dene wrote of another nobleman who sent his servants off to foolish errands on the 1st of April.

In the Uk, an April fool joke is revealed by shouthing "April fool!" at the recipient who becomes that fool. A research which was conducted showed that the joke ceased at midday of the 1st and the person who continued with playing that joke was indeed the victim and the fool.
In Scotland, orginally this day was known as "Huntigowk Day" although that name exists no more. The traditional prank is to ask somebody to deliver a sealed message which requests help of some sort. In fact, the message reads" Dinna laugh, dinna smile. Hunt the gowk another mile". The reciption, whoever that is, upon reading will say that he can only help if he contacts another person and sends the messenger further on to somebody else and the result is the same. This is also the prank played traditionally in Ireland with a few alterations.

Many prank ideas can be found online in several sites for all to do during this day. Although people have stepped away from the traditions mentioned above, it's always fun to irritate others in a funny way!

So...HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY TO ALL!

Dreams..

Dreams, your escape..

Sometimes, I look up at the night sky and I wonder what people dream about or what the wish they would dream about during those nights. I believe all of us have a good dream now and then but those are not ALWAYS good. Nightmares they are called and yet, we cannot avoid them no matter what we do. However, this is not the right topic....

"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live" - J.K Rowling, Harry Potter Series

"I think we dream so we don't have to be apart for so long. If we're in each other's dreams, we can be together all the time" - A.A Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh.

"No matter how you heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true" - Walt Disney Company.

The quotations somebody can find about dreams are numerous on the internet. All you need a laptop, a computer, an ipad or even your phone to google the word and find all those results. Thousands they are, millions even I think. Each can have a different meaning for us, in our minds and of course for those who write them or expressed them in words.
What are your dreams? Are they full of good things? A magical world? Your favorite novel or movie passing by your eyes while you lay asleep in your bed, covered with your warm blankets? And when do you dream really?
A world to escape is always the most important thing from our childhood. During our gameplay with friends or while we had some of those dull moments, we used to imagine of heroes, dragons and elves, pretending to be one of them when we could and it was always a secret. However, as we grow up, we learn what reality is and how important that is for our lives so we forget how to dream, how to be happy and escape from our dailty problems. It is during those night hours when you can truly find yourself lost in another world, doing things you can't, see things you can't because they do not exist. Those are your dreams, our dreams and my dreams.

Somebody dreams of many things. As it was mentioned above, a better world, a place where they could be free, maybe have the life of a different person and fight as heroes while others dream of loved one and of love itself. However, someone really should not "forget to live" for living is even better at times. That is the truth. You might find happiness in an other world of your creations, yes, but will you ever be able to be there in person? Will you be able to fight those magical creatures, be a king, a prince or find the true love of a prince or princess? No. Reality is far better and when it's better, you no longer wish to dream.

With this, I bid you all a very fond goodnight until next time, my dear readers!

Love? Is it worth it?

What is love really? How can you describe love yourself and what are your expectations?
Everyone has a specific version of love in their minds. It can be that old romantic, disney like love of all those princes and princesses you grew up with, the love of heroes in books you have read over and over with a box of tissues at your side while you wait to see if the guy will get the girl or vice versa even though you might know the ending already, the goofy relationship where nothing can be taken seriously or a love full of adventure or the warmth of a household where you can spend hours cuddling your partner with a cup of warm tea, or hot chocolate in your hands.
Many have those high expectations of what love should be and they do whatever is possible in their power for getting it while browsing through the pages of famous classics written by people whose names have been printed over and over and recalled a thousand times more. Some even hope for a set of guidelines in those pages with which they will make it and have a relationship last for all eternity...

Romeo & Juliet, Jack & Rose, Darcy & Elizabeth, Noah & Allie, Beast & Belle, Edward & Bella, Ross & Rachel, Cinderella & Her Prince Charming....

Maybe you recognize some of those names or all of them. Maybe there were the relationships you came across and watched them blossom and read about them on the screen of your TV or the big screen in a movie theater while nomming along on the sweet popcorn of yours and allowing yourself to be indulged in the thought of being in love.. You wished to find someone who fits you prefectly in every single way to the point it seems that this was meant to be! Is it possible for somebody not to wish for such a love in their lives? To find that special someone they can look into their eyes and be able to understand everything, their thoughts even, to communicate without saying a single word. This person is the one who will cause your heart to skip beats, make butterflies flutter in your stomach (even thought that might not that healthy as some say), make you laugh uncontrollably, see your flaws and accept you the way you are, make you be brace with the feeling of invicibility as long as they are there, by your side. This is the person every person wishes to find in the world.
However, what happens when you find that person who makes you feel like the only special, most important woman or man in the whole planet? Some move on, they fight for their love, their do everything in their power to keep them in their lives and never break their hearts while others run. You come to the point of realizing how vulnerable you become by opening, giving your heart to the hands of somebody else and the possibilities of ending up heart broken and left alone like a lost puppy on the streets. That is actually the bitter truth and I believe, everyone has come to feeling in such a way even though they might hide it successfully. On the other hand, there are those who pretend they do not need love in their lives or that someone special to make them laugh, make them see the word positevely. I think...those are the big lies and enough said. Is it really possible for you not to have a need for a hug, a warm kiss in the morning, an hour of cuddling or even just the simple feeling of being loved?

You might have found already that somebody in your life or you might have not. Just don't give up on love.

"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge.

The early hours...

Don't you all have those moments, those minutes actually, between your good sleep and being awake when you remember or recall the dreams you had that previous night and sometimes wonder how on earth they came to be? In those moments while can last for more than 5 minutes, you begin to wake up, realizing what day it is, what time and with your brain calling back at you, announcing all the chores of your day until you jump up to get ready. Then again, there are those rare cases when you figure out that the free time of your morning is precious and possibly a bit longer than the normal one so you sit back to calm down while repeating to yourself how early it is, how much time you got before work or school or any other chores.
Those are the days I love and prefer, truth be told, although I am a morning person. On those rare occassions, those being weekends, I am rather glad to wake up and take my time with all that I have to do in my list. To begin with, there is nothing better other than tending to myself by putting on freshly washed clothes or a new pair of new PJs after a warm shower, brush my hair, put on warm socks during winter time and even add some perfume, something light in scent, for the final touch. That is what makes me feel like a human person and not a half awake zombie. In addition, a quick round around my own small sanctuary of a bedroom is not that bad of an idea and with some fresh air coming form the opened window, I make my bed befor gathering the laptop upon it for later on. The sunlight simply makes everything better even though in a country such as mine, that is a rare treat but I have come to live with it.
Finally with a fresh mind and awake enough, I run downstairs to greet my dogs, my family and make my own highlight of the day. A warm cup of tea with milk and a bit of sugar for the sweetness we all need or a warm cup of coffee as I prefer some mornings, escorted by a bit of toast, butter and my favorite strawberry marmelade. There is not a better breakfast for me to begin my day with and with my morning routine of the whole week, I rarely get to enjoy such sweet little bits of our lives. Luckily, with my parents occupied by the morning news on TV or in the newspaper, I am able to return back to my own room, accompanied by my puppy who probably plots on stealing by breakfast than cuddle with me. I catch up on the news that interest me, my favorite series, the youtubers I love watching and following or even continue with reading the books I so love if that plot is that interesting and captivating.
A morning routine is what puts it in the good mood or a bad mood at other times. It all depends on how you see yourself and how you allow yourself to wake up and what to do.

The beginning of it all

I will speak on the personal level of mine towards blogging ideas and what not here.
Personally, I was never good at writting, at least during my school years, I can easily say that I did suck on it. However, with my arrival in High School and later on in the University which I attended for three years, I found this love for writting, creating ideas, fanfics and all that comes with those. For the most part, it turned out being an escape for my daily life, when that one was dull and so it continued until now. Sometimes, writting or the need to write and get ideas out of your mind can be too much...too much to the point you come up with a thousand ideas, a thousand plots and at some point, you give up since you are not in that state of organizing your own mind. I have come to that state a thousand times already and I did give up for an hour, two hours, three hours before picking up the notebook, my pen and putting down the first few words and so on those led to what I know doing best.  The mind is almost like your own desk. In order for you to find that willingness to work on something, you need to clean up that desk, make the appropriate space around before you can start. Your mind is exactly like that. Everybody needs to clear their heads, as the so known quote says, before they can move on to doing something they like, something new. It's like the pile of laundry on your bed which you need to fold and place neatly in the closet or the dresser before bed so you can have the right space on there and sleep. However, by the time everything is clear for you and your own brain, things get easier. You start writting, your ideas flow like a stream of water in spring time among the valleys of the most beautiful forest until you are done for the day. When you go back and you read once more, you find yourself surprised by your words and your own creation as it is something special, your own child as others say.
Writting is one of the ways plenty of people find helpful on their every day basis but of course it is not the only one!! Many things, ideas, notions, beliefs, activities of the authors and so on will be shared here for you to read and enjoy.
Welcome to the world of Day to Day in Life and enjoy your stay!
